BARBEQUE FEST (Month of the Lion)

If the only meet you ve ever eaten all your life is beef, well mamba have a suprise for you. They give you a chance to sample every meat a human being can possibly eat. Lets start with crocodiles for those who want to be like Mungatana when they grow up. Buffalo, antelope meat and many others. The date Saturday, July 9
Time:12.00pm-9.00pm. Part with ksh 500 advance and ksh 700 at the gate and you savour any meat you can think of.


Blankets and Wine

Am sure blankets and wine doesnt need any intros, the event is held at the Mamba Village, thats like 5 minutes from Bomas. The event is known to give the audience a good helping of afro soul and afro fusion. The date is 3rd July, (this sunday)starting at 1pm. Lined up for performance, chris Adwar and the villagers band, Sage, Nyota Ndogo and Just a Band. Am sure there ll be a kibao and lesos somewhere i ll let you know where.

Mutinda Live

Forget the orgasmic like climax from Ken wamaria's guitar, this Kamba guy gives a good account of himself and proves not all kaos are the tingli tingli type. This is an example of your modern suavve kao. If acoustic is your kinda thing, join mutinda at wasanii restaurant. Thats the watering hole where Kenyan thespians quench their thirst. Its located above Kenya National Theatre.

Habida On Stage




If you ve never seen Habida or Suzanna Owiyo on stage, well this be your chance to see them. Habida is the damsel behind the song sunshine that rocked your airwaves featuring nameless while suzzana is the maestro whose shared a stage with the likes of Shakira, Black eyed peas and John Legend during the world cup. You surely cant miss this.

Walking for womanhood

WALK FOR WOMANHOOD (5 & 10kms)
to help raise funds for Serah Mwihaki’s surgery and aftercare
The cost for the walk per person is Ksh 500/-
